MITZVAH DAY
This Mitzvah Day UJW Cape Town was honored to be able to contribute goods to the Jewish Community Service cottages. Items donated included a lounge suite (2 couches and a chair); a bed; a huge flat screen TV; dinner plates and cereal bowls; clothing; towels and a food processor.
STRENGTHENING THE BABY BAG PROJECT
Given its enormous benefit, Somerset Hospital has asked UJW Cape Town to expand the baby bag project to not only give one bag at birth, but a series of bags given every 3 months to the new mom, to help her throughout the first year to look after her baby.
