PE has endured a drought for years, and water is precious. Thanks to a generous donation from Australians Sheli and Michael Wallach, UJW was able to provide a 2 500 litre water tank and accessories to Uviwe’s vegetable garden. The rain water is used for the garden, as well as for teaching the children about sanitizing and handwashing.
Uviwe Child & Youth Services (formerly Childline) recognises the ability of children and youth from underprivileged communities to shape a bright new future for themselves.
