Pretoria’s Chairman presents an ‘Evac Chair’ to the Jaffa Retirement Home
At Pretoria UJW’s AGM, an Evac Chair was presented to Jaffa. The chair is used to evacuate disabled or bed-ridden persons in the event of an emergency such as a fire.
Women’s Day Donation
To celebrate Women’s Day UJW donated a couch, urn, microwave and fridge to the Paediatric Nurses Tea room at the Dora Nginza Hospital.
Annual Senior Citizens Tea Party
The EL UJW hosts an annual Senior Citizens Tea Party, attended by approximately 150 guests. The guests enjoy dancing and singing to their favorite golden oldies, and a scrumptious tea is served.

Mandela Day blankets for the residents of the Eric Miles Cheshire Home, which has 38 residents whose disabilities result from a number of causes – motor accident injuries, impairment from birth, illness and degenerative diseases.
