THE TONI SAPHRA BURSARY

Availability
(a) The Bursary is only available to women students who already hold an undergraduate degree and whose proposed postgraduate course of study will qualify her to render some form of social service to the South African community. Women from all religious denominations are eligible.
(b) Applicants who have not completed a first degree but are in their final year of study may also apply.
( c ) A student who has been awarded a bursary the year before, may apply again for one extra year.
(d) Applicants must be South Africa citizens studying in South Africa only.
(e) Application must be made in the year preceding the proposed year of study.
(f) It is essential that the student applied in writing for an application form.
Annual value: R25 000-00
Closing Date: 31 July (written applications and 31 September other information)
JOAN HARTE MEMORIAL FUND
This is a once off yearly donation for a child in need of help.
For example:
- Batmitzvah dress
- Special extra lessons
- Towards Barmitzvah or Batmitzvah lessons
- Barmitzvah boys special kit – Tifillim Tallis
- Disadvantaged children who are brought to our notice by various Welfare bodies i.e. Arcadia with extra –mural lessons, finance for studying purposes
