Every year UJW PE receives a shipment of library books from ‘Australian Books for Children of Africa’. This year (2019) we were able to donate library books to 12 schools in the Eastern Cape.
One of Cape Town’s 2019 Mandela Day projects was a special fancy dress party hosted by the Simcha Group at Noluntu Kitchen.
Cuddle Bundles, a charity organisation from Australia, sent a suitcase full of baby clothes to UJW East London, which were presented to Salem Baby Centre.
UJW East London collaborated with Duck Apparel and donated puffer jackets to residents at Silver Crown Old Age home.
Our weekly Friendship Club lunches are attended by our elderly guests who enjoy a 3-course lunch and entertainment. Once a month birthdays are celebrated with a delicious birthday cake.
