Volunteer Knitting Group

Monday morning brings the New Beginnings knitting club to UJW House for a morning of knitting, social interaction and tea. The group knits beanies, fluffy toys and blankets for our Bags for New Beginnings project which gifts moms at local clinics with a starter bag full of necessities for their newborn.

WE FILL DREAMS at our Alexandra Aftercare

We offer a place of safety, nurturing and educational support for children in a poverty-stricken area of Alexandra. This includes lunch from our feeding scheme for those who need it. Some of these children attend weekly tutoring at UJW House to assist them with subjects they are struggling with.
