WE FILL DREAMS at our Alexandra Aftercare
We offer a place of safety, nurturing and educational support for children in a poverty-stricken area of Alexandra. This includes lunch from our feeding scheme for those who need it. Some of these children attend weekly tutoring at UJW House to assist them with subjects they are struggling with.
WE FILL DREAMS at our Sewing Empowerment School
We upskill unemployed people with a 4 month intensive sewing course. Many students are able to start their own small business after graduating.
WE FILL PLATES at our Alexandra Feeding Scheme
We serve freshly cooked lunch meals to hungry adults and children, sometimes their only meal of the day. Periodically we are able to donate clothing/linen or kitchenware to the beneficiaries.
WE FILL PLATES at our Hillbrow Soup Kitchen
We lift the spirits of weary day patients by providing a hot cup of nourishing soup and a slice of bread, Monday to Friday. We are sometimes able to offer a treat of fresh fruit and activity packs for the children.
WE FILL HEARTS with our Bags for New Beginnings Project
This heartwarming project gifts underprivileged moms at local clinics a well-stocked starter bag for their newborn baby as well as treats for the new mom.
WE FILL HEARTS at our Friendship Club Lunch
This special project brings together elderly Jewish people who enjoy a 3-course lunch, entertainment and tea in a warm social setting.

Flo’s girls celebrate Valentine’s Day for Mama Flo. The famous Camps Bay Waterblometjies collected sanitary pads for Mama Flo today at their morning aqua-arobics in the camps bay tidal pool. What a beautiful way to kick off the day of love while helping a very special cause!
